At the IAA International Truck Show, Hannover, Germany on 22 September, Cummins Turbo Technologies took the wraps off a new range of small turbochargers designed to meet the specific requirements of 2-5 litre diesel engines.

The range of wastegate and variable geometry turbochargers has been launched to meet the requirements of different emissions requirements across many diverse applications in a wide range of global markets.  

The products feature Cummins Turbo Technologies’ innovative rotor system design, class leading compressor technology and patented sliding wall variable geometry design, optimised to meet the particular requirements of diesel engines in the 2-5 litre range.

The new range of turbochargers has been developed in response to the increasing focus on fuel economy and engine down-sizing of existing strategic customers and to meet the needs of the global diesel engine market across a variety of applications worldwide.
