GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED
Cummins turbochargers took pride of place on the Cummins stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last week, alongside the QSK45, QST35, QSB5.9 and QSX15 for marine, industrial and rail applications. The event, a highlight in the motorsport calendar, saw well known names from all aspects of the sport, as well as key manufacturers displaying their design and engineering prowess.
Amongst the automotive glitterati, Cummins held their own with plenty of genuine interest in the impressive section engines that stand more than head high on the stand, whilst the Holset VGT TM, turbocompounding and fixed geometry turbocharger attracted many questions and much curiosity. With emissions legislation and fuel economy a theme that cuts across the event despite the obvious interest in ‘”POWER”, the Holset turbochargers were well placed to demonstrate their critical role across a wide range of applications.
The Festival of Speed is an annual event for the Engine Business Unit, and Cummins Turbo Technologies are grateful for their support hosting our technology and engineers.
