On Show at the Chinese Engine Exhibition
The centennial anniversary of Chinese combustion engine was marked at the 8th Chinese Engine exhibition at the Beijing International Exhibition centre. This special event was held 21-24 October promoting China as a leading global player in engine manufacturing.
Wuxi Cummins Turbo Technologies exhibited on a shared Cummins stand, themed ‘Clean Power, Serving China’ which was very busy throughout the show, with visitors showing an interest in the latest Holset turbocharger technology. There was a genuine interest in the sectioned Holset turbochargers that were on display. These included a Holset HE211W, HE351Ve, HE351CW,HE531Ve and the impressive Holset HP841 - HX55 Axi-Radial turbocompound unit. The Holset turbochargers and Cummins products on display were promoted in relation to their capability in meeting, Euro 4 and even higher emissions legislation. This is significant achievement in China as the country is currently working to Euro 3 legislation until 2012.

Wuxi Cummins Turbo Technologies held an on site interview to answer questions on future Holset turbocharger technology, the products that will retain our market leader status in the substantial Chinese market. Quality assurance and the future of research and development in China were also on the agenda. The interview was with journalists from the well known Auto Market magazine.
