Quality Standards

On our journey of continuous improvement, all Cummins Turbo Technologies plants worldwide have been accredited to ISO/TS16949:2002 which replaces QS9000 as the Specification for Automotive Quality Systems.

Our approval to ISO/TS16949: 2009 demonstrates the commitment of the company to its customers and its determination to remain leader in an increasingly competitive turbocharger market.

The Aftermarket Division is approved to ISO9001:2008 to ensure that our support to the Aftermarket continues to excel.

Six Sigma

A key initiative for improving our business processes is the Cummins Six Sigma Program. It complements the requirements of TS16949 and provides a structure to improve processes that are not optimised. The outcome is lower costs and improved quality sustainable through the disciplines that Six Sigma brings.
